When: Saturday October 15th and Sunday October 16th
Click here for event results. The 2011 Fall Equestrian Tournament is taking place in two locations again, making it possible for two shorter shows and lessen the burden for our four-legged volunteers. Programs will not be split up so coaches will not have to travel twice, with the exception of Challenge Unlimited. Special thanks to Josselyn Shaughnessy and Mandy Hogan and the Windrush Farm staff, DeeDee O'Brien and the staff of Ironstone Farm and all our dedicated volunteers who make this event possible. For 2011, both state shows will be quotaed. Games Dedication
Special Olympics Massachusetts would like to dedicate this year’s Equestrian season to Barbara DeNitto our long time Equestrian Director who passed away last winter. Barbara was instrumental in bringing the sport of Equestrian to Special Olympics Massachusetts as she founded the program and continued to be heavily involved until she passed last winter. Barbara’s finger prints are all over the program and her vision will help guide the Special Olympics Massachusetts equestrian program long into the future. Her leadership and guidance and love for our athletes will forever be missed.
